Materials Manager - Oil & Gas

Our client, an engineering company is currently seeking to recruit a Materials Manager-Oil & Gas. This position will be based in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE

Job Description:
- Provides technical support to projects in related to construction material.
- Advise and propose viable alternative construction materials / works method.
- Raises punch lists for incomplete or defective work related materials.
- Responsible for supervising warehouses and ensuring safe practices to be followed.
- Review and monitor physical inventory of materials.
- Provide various inventory related reports to management as needed.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Engineering Degree – any discipline, mechanical preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience with 2 years position in Material Manager
- Oilfield / Oil and Gas industry experience preferred
- Should able to carry out task-based risk assessments for materials
- Excellent Knowledge of MARIAN software
- Ability to Co-ordinate and organize activities with warehouse keepers and logistic foreman
