Job description / Role
International MEP Contractor who have an established and reputed operation here for around 10 years are looking for Mechanical Design Engineer.
They will have the responsibility of controlling engineers and draftsmen to produce detailed shop drawings.
Liaising with clients and client technical representatives to get designs approved, assisting project/site based engineers with technical matters and supporting procurement for supplier technical evaluations and review of material submittals.
Requirements
This individual will be a Degree Qualified Mechanical Engineer, min 8 years experience, working as designer in consultancy here in the UAE building services industry.
Some contractor experience will be an advantage however majority of experience will be consultancy bias.
Strong design and technical skills will be shown through previous experience on major projects here in the Middle East.
Excellent English communication, written and oral is required for driving an internal team, and representing the company.
