WSP |Parsons Brinckerhoff are looking for Mechanical engineers to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

We would like to hear from qualified Mechanical Engineers who have worked on power projects .

- Mechanical engineer will involve in power sector design reviews and site supervision
- Team across all functions to complete projects in accordance with project plans, timelines and budget.
- Formulates and executes Design Validation plans.
- Utilizes quality control measures to effectively capture and address part quality issues identified by incoming inspection team.
- Applying a broad range of experience and capabilities, performs basic design analysis i.e., stress and load calculations, thermal calculations, etc.
- Manages outside suppliers for product design, prototyping, tooling design / build, and production component or subsystem delivery
- Analyzes product issues and failure data as collected by both the Service and Operations groups to establish trends and find the key problem areas.

Requirements

- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 5 years related experience
- Experience in Power sector, HVAC, Fire fighting
- The ideal candidate will be hands on, experienced, and technically capable.
- Technical support to the Pre-Contract and Project Delivery teams on matters concerning the design, construction and operation of MEP (HVAC and fire protection works ) and associated equipment
- Technical evaluation of tender submissions and report preparation
- Site supervision of installation, testing and commissioning activities as per approved fire protection systems, HVAC systems and EOT Crane.
- Review of method statement submitted by contractors for MEP site activities.
- Reporting and monitoring of site progress to Project manager / client..
- Warranty defect follow up with contractors
- Participate in meetings with clients and contractors when needed
- Maintain an awareness of technological advances and industry best practice
- Knowledge of health & safety requirements and compliance.
