Job description / Role
Support all digital media business units across various locations and advise the company on media publication and broadcasting laws, commercial and IP laws

Description
* Provide legal expertise and advice on a number of legal areas such as commercial contracts, regulatory, employment, dispute resolution, and governance issues
* Draft and negotiate programming and publishing contracts including rights acquisitions, content licenses, commissions, cast & crew agreements
* Provide local and international know-how across the regional remit
* Advise the senior legal team and other senior stakeholders on risk and regulatory changes

Requirements
Candidates who apply should meet all of the below criteria:
* Law qualified and licensed under a relevant jurisdiction
* Fluent Arabic speaker (ability to review contracts in Arabic)
* Media experience: knowledge of media laws across multiple publication platforms
* Middle East experience is advantageous
