Job description / Role
Taylor Sterling is looking for a MEP Authorities Manager to join an award winning first tier contractor in Dubai. In the role you will be responsible for managing UAE projects including Hotels, Commercial, Residential Buildings and Master Developments. Main responsibilities include dealing with MEP contractors, Clients, Consultants and Authority liaison. Responsible for all MEP activities on the projects achieving the overall construction objectives.
You will monitor the pre-construction activities, preparation of project documentation, overall progress and quality, Testing and Commissioning activities and the final handover process required to ensure project target is met.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years work experience with MEP Contractors in the Middle East
- Experience in managing the various mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) related subcontractors through their contractor design portion (COP) design development, site installation and commissioning.
- Experience in ensuring all works are fully coordinated and delivered in accordance with contract programs
- Full understanding of detailed MEP procedures and will have a good level of technical and professional expertise. You will have the ability to produce MEP design, installation and commissioning programs
