Job description / Role
- Knowledgeable of plans, MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing and project schedule.
- Facilitate problem solving, as may arise between MEP subcontractors during construction.
- Validate design issues related to MEP subcontractors during construction
- Assist in the receipt and review of MEP submittals.
- Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information of MEP change work order.
- Assist in the scope review, budgeting and justification of MEP change work order.
- Direct, monitor and control the activities of MEP subcontractor.
- Coordination and administration of MEP related materials, systems and shop drawings submittals.
- Liaison with consultant MEP supervisory Engineers, Inspector and relevant staff.
- Ensure that a MEP subcontractor provide and adheres to relevant quality documentation/records.
- Ensure that MEP subcontractors adhere to Project safety regulations.
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment.
- Initiation / responding to all planning/time related correspondence to Engineers/subcontractors.
- Preparation and issue of necessary reports (weekly, monthly) to Head Office and/or Client.
- Attend all site coordination meetings with the Engineer/Subcontractors.
- Preparation and maintenance of the project As Built Programme
- Maintenance of production rates for equipment and labour for all trades.
- Liaison, preparation and issue of all time impact programmes to substantiate/support claims (if applicable) at the post constructions stage.
- Prepare feedback for all production rates of all tasks at the post construction stage.
- Preparation and maintenance of the project close out program.
- Carry out joint goal setting of direct reportees, conduct their formalAPPRAISALS & feedback sessions at least twice a year, identify their training needs, encourage them to attend development initiatives, participate in mentoring initiatives and implement action plans for improved Employee Engagement
Requirements
- At least have more than 2 years’ work experience holding the position of MEP Planner Engineer at in any GCC countries.
- Proficient in Primavera software, MS-office, Excel, BAAN-ERP software and others computer programmes.
- Graduate of MEP Engineering or any alike bachelor degrees.
- Efficient to project management, project controls operation and networking.
- Must have a strong relationship management and communication skills.
