Job description / Role
MEP Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor
Our client is a large MEP contracting company who provide quality services in Engineering, Design, Procurement, Installation, Testing & commissioning of all kind of MEP services such as Air conditioning, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Electrical, ELV, Data and all other Utility Services applicable to Residential, Commercial as well as Government and Luxury Hotel Buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing Revenue and Project Status report for all jobs
- Preparing project billing forecast for all ongoing projects
- Verifying & checking payment and variation claims for all jobs before submission to Main Contractor
- Verifying & checking EOT /Prolongation / Acceleration claims for all jobs before submission to Main Contractor
- Attending meeting with client/main contractor for negotiation of claims & variations
- Guiding all project managers for achieving billing as per the forecast
- Attending meeting regularly with all main contractors for payment and variation related issues
- Assessing internal variation of subcontractors
- Finalizing subcontract tender documents
- Preparing final account on completion of works
- Verifying & checking material and installation cost for all services, prepared by tender departments for bid submission
- Attending meeting with client for negotiation and clarification of the commercial & contractual related issues in subcontract signing stage
- Verifying BOQ for Errors before submitting for new jobs
Requirements
- B.E with 5 + years of experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the GCC region
- Experience of working for a MEP contractor/Sub Contractor
Currently working as at least a Assistant QS within the UAE - Positions available from assistant to Senior QS (Must be in the UAE) - Immediate applicants will be given preference.
