Employment: Full Time

Charterhouse is working with a famous sport brand. Our client is looking to hire a Merchandise Planner to join their team.

You will develop the appropriate inventory, collection, financial plans and forecasts for the merchandise department. Reporting to the Product Manager, you will be responsible for regularly and accurately allocating stock to stores as well as reacting timeously to under and over stock situations. You will be in charge of reporting and analysis of store performance including best sellers / poor performers’ analysis with buyers.

In addition, you will be accountable for the strategy, understanding and interpreting business trends in terms of target market. You will also manage product planning and prepare detailed product plans ensuring it is completed “pre-season”.

Requirements

The successful candidate should hold a relevant retail / business qualification, have a high degree of numeracy with at least 5 years’ proven experience as a Planner. It is essential you are analytical, detailed and strategic in your approach to work.
