Job description / Role
An educational organization that focuses on teaching applied technology is seeking Meteorology Faculty . They offer a rigorous educational and training program. They aim to provide innovative teaching, learning and training environments for students wishing to engage in future TECHNICAL careers.
Seeking to appoint a Teaching Faculty member for the Meteorology program in Applied Bachelor-Higher Diploma, holding a PhD degree (preferred) or Master Degree in Meteorology or related ( Geographical Science or Atmospheric Science or Physics )
Looking for a professional who Demonstrates subject knowledge/experience in teaching topics in Meteorology and handling W orkshops in W eather Forecasting and Numerical Analyses .
To teach in a hands-on, practical environment. Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organizing learning resources and the classroom environment. Meeting with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors and administrators to resolve any possible behavioral or academic problems. Must also establish clear objectives for all lessons, and projects. Distribute, collect and grade homework assignments, tests and projects and attend staff meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Science from a recognized University in the UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA, Scandinavian countries
- Master Degree in Science in Meteorology or related ( Geographical Science or Atmospheric Science or Physics
- PhD degree preferred
- Certifications in Meteorology and information technology will be an advantage
- Must have excellent English communication skills
- For non-native speakers IELTS level 7 must be passed
- Have excellent classroom management skills and able to deal effectively with student behaviour issues
Requirements
Required Experience:
- Minimum 3 years industrial field experience and 3 years in teaching-training
- Professional Certifications in Meteorology and Information Technology will be an advantage
- Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment
Monthly Salary Range:
- Competitive TAX FREE Salary range from 9,000 - 14,000 AED depending on qualifications, experience
Housing:
- Housing Allowance AED 7,424 to 11,600 depending on family status
- Health Insurance Coverage:
- Provided for employee, spouse and up to 3 dependent children
Annual Air Tickets:
- Annual Cash Allowance given based on home country location for employee, spouse and up to 3 dependent children
- Relocation air tickets also provided at beginning and end of contract
Leave:
- In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per academic calendar and as per the country Labour law. Minimum 30 work days per year
Dependent School Fees:
- School Tuition of 80,000 AED per family, maximum 40K per child
- This allowance to be used for tuition fees, exam fees, text books, uniform, school transport - (all must be official invoices from the school)
Visa & Medical Check Fees:
- VISA fees and Medical check done in the country for Residence Visa are paid by the school for Employee only
End Of Service Benefit:
- Receive 21 days basic salary for each full year of service. Plus economy air ticket to place of permanent residence according to Labour Law of the country
Contract Period:
- Open contract - renewable yearly

Paperwork Requirements:
- Notarized and Attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts, marriage, dependent birth certificates. You will be advised of school requirements
