Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Perform the inspection of components, products and tooling (including jigs and fixtures) in accordance with inspection plans
• Use a Laser Tracker, portable CMM or CMM to conduct the inspections or conventional methods of inspection as well in preparation for or in support of Laser Tracker inspections.
• Maintain required inspection documentation, generate and maintain reports and provide accurate evidence of the results of the inspections.
• Compile and evaluate inspection results in order to determine compliance with the specifications
• Support the root cause analysis in case inspection results out of specifications
• Provide improvement inputs to enhance the effectiveness of metrology process

Requirements

NECESSARY EXPERIENCE TO BE ABLE TO DO THE JOB
• Min. 2 years of metrology that includes (operations of lazer tracker, CMM etc.)

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED

JOB SPECIFIC TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Ability to read and understand procedures and specifications.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision after training is complete.
• Ability to use computer controlled automatic test equipment Calibration Systems.
• Proficient in the use of Diagnostic Tools and Test Equipment.
• Able to demonstrate innovative and adaptive solutions.
• Able to formulate technical reports with recommendations.
• Experience with Laser Trackers
• Experience with CMM systems, portable CMM arms systems.
• Good mechanical knowledge and abilities.
• Understanding of relevant Health and Safety considerations
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office, database.
• Basic understanding of 5S, Kaizen and 6 Sigma practices.
• Good mechanical knowledge and abilities.
• Able to read and understand mechanical and structural blueprints

About the Company

Innovations Group was established in 1994 under the name of Innovation Commercial Brokers. The company was formed as a sole proprietorship company spearheaded by its Managing Director, Ashish Nanda.

The company was set up with an objective to provide Relationship Management work within the Promotion, Distribution and Services business. The other line of business which the company was pursuing along with Promotions, Distribution and Services was Commercial Broking for clients for various financial products such as IPO, Investments and Placement of Funds. The idea was to acquire customers and mature the business by converting them for its different product lines by selling and cross-selling. By identifying the customer needs and trying to provide services in those areas where there was an identified need propelled the company to new heights and growth.

The process of acquiring clients was initially from local market and expanded to global markets through mail, telephone, and generation of leads.
