Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This role will support the pre-sales activities associated with the Modernization initiative, will help push Modernization Program for TurboMachinery, Cyber, Safety, Consulting.

It will also help client sales executives generate SITE PLANS and help Cross Sell.

Key Responsibilities
- Create a Modernization vision that meets the client’s enterprise and site strategies and address issues.
- Help Sales Managers develop site plans from a holistic perspective starting from Installed base covering all possible business avenues where portfolio of Schneider Electric can be used.
- Able to interact with Sales, delivery, Projects, Services and Management team
- Conduct consultative conversation during a site Modernization Assessment.
- Continuously keeps abreast on the portfolio offerings and industry needs to provide value for the customer.
- Develop ‘non-standard’ customer solutions to either address a specific customer need or to create an innovative solution to address a gap in our current solutions for a wider customer audience
- Works with portfolio & development to understand requirements for solutions, to create solutions and to train other members of Modernization team on those solutions
- Articulate the ECS concept with full knowledge of hardware , software and engineering
- Able to orchestrate and coordinate full-time and part-time Modernization team members and hold them accountable to:
- Be prepared for the site assessment;
- Deliver a quality set of proposals ON-TIME.
- Execute multiple pursuits simultaneously.
- Work with the global teams, CSE, TSC and other sales team members during complete sales cycle with the customer.
- Work with Modernization Global team to define required collateral to support Modernization pursuits globally.

Requirements

- Proven exposure to Process Control / Automation Segment in Oil/Gas/Manufacturing Industries
- Knowledge of different services work-streams: Advantage upgrade, Competitive migrations, Safety services, TMC, Cyber Security
- Ability to integrate multiple items from the work-streams to have a holistic value based conversation with internal or external customers
- Understands the Customer First Program and how to leverage it in building into a Modernization plan.
- Strong interpersonal skills and is a strategic, consultative thinker.
- Able to convert soft qualitative benefit statements to meaningful quantitative impact statements in dollars and ROI terms the client is willing to invest in.
- Understands Sales Support role including BFO / CQA / Bid process
- Knowledge of APC, Batch, and controls programming. Preferably with either Honeywell or ABB Bailey
- Broad understanding of Industry needs/best practices
