Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our Client is a commercial entity that is looking to transform the Cyber Security landscape by developing cutting edge Cyber Security applications, services and solutions.

Their mission is to provide end-to-end electronic security services and solutions for their clients.

The firm is a Joint Venture between two Enterprises and the company behind the creation is Government backed

The U.A.E is still in early stages of ramp up within the electronic security ecosystem and building its capabilities in the field. At such stages, it is vital to have trusted commercial entities that can work with prime and top classified Government entities to define electronic security needs and provide required solutions and services.

Their primary clients include Government, Semi Government and Commercial entities in the UAE with an aspiration to grow and expand globally. Their aim is to be the leading player in the region within this domain and the different streams that they handle; they will ultimately play at a global level with their own intellectual property in terms of architected and developed products and solutions.

They are in the process of hiring the best minds in the field. They want talent who has earned accolades in the field to continue with their successful track record, while pursuing a multitude of interesting and highly visible projects.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing support to multifaceted team in the implementation, configuration, and operation of vulnerability scanning tools, and security incident event management (SIEM) systems
- Understanding of complex network architectures, vulnerability signatures and behaviors and ability to create and develop cyber security use cases for SIEM systems.
- Establishing key incremental, scheduled and unscheduled reporting as part of incident management frameworks and processes, which communicates the results and recommended remediation actions.
- Distinguishing through functional knowledge the difference between false positive and false negative incidents and vulnerabilities and provide actions for both validation and recommendations for further investigation and forensics

Requirements

Monitoring and Vulnerability Analyst

Must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in the Cyber Security Field.

Would need to have the following certifications:
- CEH
- CISSP
- CAP
- SANS, GSEC or GCIH
- CCNA
