Job description / Role

The primary role of the .NET/SharePoint developer is to design, develop, implement and maintain dynamic intranet/internet web portals

Key Outputs:
- Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
- Perform coding to written technical specifications
- Create well designed re-usable objects enforcing best practice coding standards
- Revise/Scale the solutions per the changing business requirements/needs
- Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates
- Performs related duties as assigned

Requirements

- Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or related area.
- 4+ years’ experience in .NET/SharePoint web application development
- Experience gathering and understanding business requirements and mapping them to SharePoint application functionalities
- Ability to come up with proper work-around or custom development when necessary
- Demonstrable Software Development experience
- Experience in user interface design and prototyping
- Knowledge of database architecture and design
- Ability to work effectively on tight deadlines when necessary
- Ability to interpret business requirements and technical specification documents
- Ability to code software according to published standards and design guidelines
- Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure
- A commitment to quality and deadlines
- Good team player
- Microsoft certification on Web/SharePoint application development
- Experience in Agile development methodologies

Computer Skills
- Web Development using ASP.NET, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript
- Hands on experience developing SharePoint portals using SharePoint API, Object Model, Web services, workflows (WF) etc.
- Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013 development
- Excellent visual studio 2008/2010/2012 knowledge
- Experience working with various Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Good understanding of security standards for web applications
- SQL Server T-SQL, and Database designing
- Excellent C# knowledge
- Fair knowledge of service oriented architecture (WCF)
- Knowledge in other Microsoft SQL Server technologies such as SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
