Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The purpose of this role is to manage the Dealer Sales and Service Agreement (DSSA ) evaluate and execute the plans to upgrade of all GM Sales and Service facilities in line with GM Corporate Identity. In addition, this position requires the person to analyze and evaluate market opportunities throughout the region for GM business including AC Delco operation from Retail Network Development.
- Evaluate current facilities and locations of potential facilities to facilitate dealer market growth.
- Make sure dealers are in compliance with GM specification and standards.
- Support dealers, architects and contractors to make sure all facility construction and vendors meet GM specifications.

The position requires the evaluation of competitor growth and locations within the market place and support blue printing efforts of key markets to make sure it is comprehensive and provide the necessary outputs

The responsibilities for this position are broken down into:

Network Development:
- Analyze all current facilities within the region for compliance to corporate standards and recommend facility enhancements
- Look at growth trends within markets and make recommendations on facility strategy
- Work with dealers, architects and vendors to make sure the design execution, materials, and signage is to corporate specifications
- Monitor time lines that are agreed upon and notify leadership is timelines are at risk
- Manage termination process for dealers who fail to meet minimum franchise requirements or who are involved in a buy-sell
- Getting dealers to comply with corporate design and image elements. Meeting time lines that have been agreed upon for facility development
- If the region is to have the proper number of facility to meet the ME growth and sales objectives we must ramp up our efforts. If we are going to have a consistent corporate image we will need to closely monitor facility progress to make sure correct materials are used
- If the correct image materials are being used and are in compliance
- Adding new points and making recommendations on the type of facility. Recommending which dealer should be given new areas of responsibility.
- To Deal with Local laws and customs when it comes to facility design, location and functions
- To be aware of laws that dictate distance between facilities
- Relationship between dealers will come into play and may require some counselling

Parts Agreements for ACDelco Wholesale Distributor (WD), ACDelco Service Center &GM Parts Supply
- Manage the agreement for both Wholesale, Service Centers and GM Parts Supply
- Cross check all the ACDelco Service Centers schedules to ensure it matches physical counts in each country around the Middle East Region
- Develop plans to execute the upgrade of ACDelco Service Centers in line with GM CI
- Evaluate all the ACDelco Service Centers and set recommendations to GM and dealers
- Work with legal team to ensure all agreements are updated and meeting all GM guidelines
- Develop plans to execute the upgrade of ACDelco Service Centers in line with GM CI
- Addition or deletion of facilities, change of ownership/ management, addition of models, do addendums to the completed ACDelco Service Center Agreement.
- Manage CI for ACDelco
- Budget planning and forecasting on a monthly basis
- Evaluate KPI’s and provide recommendations/action plans to the field team based on the service capacity for green field, ensuring dealer profitability is achieved from expansion or new service projects
- Analyze all current facilities within the region for compliance to corporate standards and recommend facility enhancements.
- Support the Vision 2014 for GM facilities in addition to ACDelco Service Centers.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree preferably in business
- 5-8 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Need to have an understanding of the automotive business.
- Dealer operations knowledge and market knowledge.
- Understanding legal contracts and legal ramifications and understanding of blueprints
