Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• To develop a new territory of clients from the ground up through existing contacts and different cold calling approaches throughout the EMEA Market so revenue and growth can be obtained and sustained.
• To provide excellent customer service, to all existing and new portfolio customers by demonstrating the constant ability of being their trusted adviser within the SMS space.
• To continually measure the results and find proactive ways of improving revenue and adding value to all customers within target portfolio.

Responsibilities

The New Business Development Executive is responsible for growing the SMSGlobal client base by signing up new SME’s, Government & Corporate customers and for maintaining any assigned existing customer relationships so new customers can be added as well showing constant revenue.

• Identifying new sales leads/ increase client base
• Seek new SME’s, Government & Corporate customers via outbound strategies
• LinkedIn
• ZoomInfo
• Cold Calling

• Data mining existing SMSG data base
• Total understanding of the whole SMSGlobal sales process as per the sales guide
• Seek new Sales via leads provided
• Maintain pipeline to ensure enough quality leads are entering top of funnels so revenue targets can be achieved
• Accurate completion of all administration duties
• Achieve all set out sales KPIs as per the daily report
• Revenue Targets – New Business/ Account Management
• Conversion rates
• Uncover new opportunities from incoming SQL’s and MQL’s
• Proactive approach as there are a multitude of objections to be overcome to get prospects over the line
• Manage all phone meetings, webinars and in person meetings effectively
• Superior degree of Customer Service
• Effectively manage co-worker relationship to deliver exceptional client experience.
• Follow up on all internal messages from Athena, Echelon and Hubspot– including follow up on any finance request

• Follow up on any clients within portfolio who has cancelled the service with SMS Global
• Follow up on clients emails and calls backs within 24 hrs
• Negotiate rates with all new and existing clients to ensure maximum profitability can be achieved.
• Account Management of entire portfolio of new clients obtained
• Proactively identify any barriers that might be stopping new child accounts from signing up with SMS Global and seek for solutions by socializing the development team
• Prepare weekly One on One meetings
• Prepare Monthly revisions
• Prepare Quarterly objective revisions
• Create further opportunities within accounts in the way of new divisions or sub accounts.

• Daily/Monthly/ quarterly / yearly individual sales and conversion rate targets as per daily report
• Hubspot management (CRM)
• Following all processes as per the SMSGlobal sales guide
• Customer feedback when applicable
