The role

NOC Coordinator - Major Exhibition Programme

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing support to stakeholders along with the internal authorities’ team relating to all tasks related to obtaining approvals and information from external authorities.
• Supporting the project teams to liaise with authorities in obtaining the latest legal requirements and communicating the requirements to the relevant company departments and update it online.
• Supporting the team with administration of the current issues.
• Coordinating with either design managers, project managers and/or project directors on a day to day development or buildings projects or major developments.
• Applying the enhancement process to enhance relations between company and all local authorities and to improve response time from authorities.
• Receiving and submitting documents to and from the authorities and communicate any technical problems directly to the authorities/project manager and etc.
• Ensuring all authority requirements are included in the submitted documents to reduce response time and eliminate multiple re-submittals.
• Drafting letters to government institutions.
• Maintaining a regular follow up on submissions made to the different authorities.
• Conducting regular reviews and ensuring adherence and compliance with authority requirements.
• Tracking and managing of all deliverables in accordance with the contract requirements.
• Submitting drawings for final approval from the authorities to obtain necessary approval.
• Providing administrative support with the weekly NOC tracker.
• Managing the document control system for all official correspondence between government institutions, client and the company.
• Feeding the overall issues in the tracker with relevant data given by the team.

Requirements

Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:

• Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in a similar role or the capacity of assistant project manager with heavy local Dubai stakeholder and authority involvement.
• At least 3 years’ experience in securing approvals from relevant Dubai authorities is essential.
• Experience of large international consultant and coordination of all deliverables to time and quality.
• Experience in stakeholder and interface management.
• Proficiency with external based document management systems i.e. Aconex is preferred.
• Strong communication skills is essential, Arabic speaking is an advantage.

Qualifications

• A bachelor degree in a project management or engineering is required.
• Professional memberships i.e. PMP, PMI, ICE, RICS or equivalent is essential.
