O&M Manager - Coal Fired Power Plants - UAE
£80-95K + accommodation + car + schooling + flights
An international power company are seeking an Operations & Maintenance Manager to focus on coal fired power plants.
The O&M Manager will be responsible for providing support to established and new assets in Africa. Identifying best practices and ensuring continuous improvement in the O&M activities, developing maintenance practices and leading and participating in the required initiatives for projects in commercial and under mobilization with the aim of ensuring optimum returns from the plants.
Requirements
- Experience of working at Operations / Maintenance Manager level on coal fired power plants.
- Degree qualification is essential for visa / site requirements
- Substantial knowledge of engineering practices, functions and processes involved in maintenance of Power Plants
- Good leadership skills proven in a multicultural environment
- Knowledge of typical legislation associated with Power Plant maintenance
- HSE conversant
- A good understanding of maintenance management concepts and practices
- Knowledge of risk management techniques
- Some knowledge of commercial processes and budgeting experience
- Strong leadership skills are required.
The position is offered on a long term basis.
