Job description / Role
The Office Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support and assistance in the day-to-day operations of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in handling phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
• Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
• Keep the office environment tidy and organized.
• Clean the training rooms before and after the training sessions
• Assist in creating and maintaining a well-organized filing system.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
• Prepare travel itineraries and coordinate logistics.
• Prepare meeting rooms and necessary materials for internal and external meetings.
• Record meeting minutes as required.
• Provide basic technical support for office equipment (printers, copiers, etc.).
• Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives.
• Conduct research and gather information as required.
• Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees.
• Handle inquiries and provide information in a courteous manner.
Salary:
AED
1,700 to 2,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
