Job description / Role
The mission of this organization is to increase local and regional health delivery research capacity within the UAE. They have recently launched a new health research and training centre with the main aim of addressing some of the most pressing health challenges in Dubai and within the region, expanding Dubai’s role as a global hub for scientific and policy discussions related to healthcare delivery. The centre collaborates closely with the local government as well as the Boston Head Office.
Due to continued and projected expansion, the centre is now in need of an Arabic speaking Office Coordinator to join the local team. Reporting to the Director of Administration, this is a new role that requires the services of a competent business support professional who can embrace this pivotal position as the centre further establishes itself.
Typical daily responsibilities will be to provide administration support in both Arabic and English and the incumbent must be able to write, type and translate from Arabic to English and vice versa. You will be responsible for arranging some travel, screening calls, mail merging, dealing with enquiries and requests and handling them when appropriate; meeting and greeting visitors and following up on various issues on the Directors behalf. In addition, you will interact directly with clients and promoting communications whilst maintaining professional standards in line with the company’s ethos.
