Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

JOB PURPOSE:
- Ensure to review Facility Structure/Limits/Collaterals/Terms & Conditions and Covenants of approved Credit Application to help ascertain appropriate line of action required for Limit & Collateral loading, disbursements and ongoing Facility Maintenance in line with Policies and SOPs of Bank/WCAD.
- Raise and intimate Relationship Manager/Credit Manager, and Line Manager to provide clarification/approval from DLA holders in case of ambiguity or otherwise.
- Ensure to complete the action points as Maker or Checker as applicable which shall be carried out though FOUR EYES Principles.
- Receive and Arrange WMS (Sentinel) referral to priorities line of action on FIFO basis unless otherwise officially requested through appropriate approval.
- Ensure zero risk tolerance in Limit Maintenance and Facility Disbursement or otherwise through FOUR EYES principles only.
- Ensure processing of received facility/transaction referrals within agreed SLA/TAT. Ensure to intimate RM/CM and Team Leader/Line Manager of CAD, if credit approvals are not operationally feasible from system and process point of view.
- Raise question and query to groom yourself to be competent enough to take on additional responsibilities in future.
- Ensure no operational loss to arise due to the lapse of operational control.


Risk Management:
- Ensure a comprehensive review of approved Credit Application before carrying out processing of credit facility/transaction as Maker or Checker as applicable to help support Zero Risk Tolerance from operational risk point of view..

Policy & SOP Compliance
- Ensure adherence and full compliance to the existing Credit Policy Manual/WCAD Policy Manual and all other Policy Documents of the bank inclusive of SOPs related to WCAD while processing approved limits, collateral and disbursements followed by comprehensive compliance of rules/regulations issued by UAE Central Bank of UAE and others from time to time

Customer Service & Delivery
- Ensure timely review/system maintenance/authorization/intimation of all the documented commitments/TAT agreed with the Internal Stakeholders in Service Level Agreements (SLA) documents.
- On daily basis, ensure to declare number and status of referrals revived at individual level to help initiate appropriate measure and actions towards service delivery.

System Developments
- Ensure to highlight and intimate gap in the existing Core Banking Systems/Satellite Systems wherever noticed during processing action steps of Approved Credit Application.

Process Improvements
- Ensure to intimate improvements opportunities wherever noticed during process limit management/maintenance

Reporting & Submission
- Ensure to timely produce and disseminate internal/external reports. Ensure to arrange input to produce CAD related KRI/KPI reports to supports Business/Risk within the bank.

People Management
- Ensure to train and groom yourself to be competent enough to carry out Limit/Collateral Management function with ease.

Managing Stakeholder Expectation
- Provide timely action and maintain positive interaction/rapport with all the internal stakeholders to support/meet their expectation towards ADCB’s Mission/Vision.

Requirements

- University Degree
- 3-5 years in Banking with at least last 3 years in Wholesale Credit Administration functions

Professional Qualifications
- NA. However, Master Degree/Diploma in Business and Finance will be an added advantage

Technical Competencies
- Knowledge of Corporate Banking and Islamic Banking products and services.
- Knowledge of Operational Risk Aspects especially Process and System Risk
- Knowledge of Credit/WCAD Policy/SOP
- Knowledge of Core Banking Systems and their related Applications
- Communication Skill in English
- Knowledge of MS office (Word Excel/PP)
