Charterhouse are currently working with one of leading financial services clients in Abu Dhabi; whom are looking to recruit an Officer within their Investment Administration function.

This role shall provide an operational support capacity, to the front office custody team, in the delivery and development across areas of account opening, compliance (AML & KYC), trade monitoring, settlements/reconciliations and corporate actions. This role will act as a critical interface internally to facilitate an accurate information flow, across the middle office functions, to ensure the accurate and timely flow of trade executions along with a detailed analysis of cash management, funding/liquidity requirements and any trade resolution. In conjunction, this position will be geared towards the completion of compliance and tax documentation whilst developing reports to support both operational and investment-related management teams with strong MIS and data management.

Requirements

The client will look to hire a strong, driven and corporate professional, with up to 5 years’ experience, from within a banking and/or financial services background; whereby they are able to demonstrate and deliver within a broad ranging and challenging middle office environment. The successful candidate will be required to possess a detailed exposure of trade settlements, along with a strong grasp of an accounting-based principles, to deliver the required reporting and reconciliation undertaking. You will also be required to present an advanced capability within Excel-based reporting tools; to allow for the development and enhancement of reporting mechanisms and controllership. Combined with these criterion, the client will also look for a suitable individual with an understanding and knowledge of investment products and asset classes; to complement the existing department with a technical proficiency and understanding.
