Offshore Marine Representative

Job description / Role

Our client is the NOC for Abu Dhabi. Due to increased activity, projects and ventures, an Offshore Marine Representative is required to join the logisitics division of the subsidary company providing offshore support and drilling activities.

The job holder will be providing support to the marine branch of the logisitics team, which will involve the coordination of maintenance vessels and other field activities acting as the point of liaison between the client and the vessel master. Regular inspection of the vessels will be required, ensuring strict adherence to company HSE policies.

Also included in this role will be the investigation of incidents and accidents on board, reporting back on findings to management where required. Liaison with rig movers will also be required, alongside the inspection and verification of equipment such as offshore buoys and anchors.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Masters Certificate of Competency or equivalent, with solid experience in offshore vessel operations in a senior capacity. Experience working with mooring vessels is highly preferred.
