Job description / Role
RESPONSIBILITY:
Assist Project Manager in the follow up of offshore operations, including but not limited to:
• Plan, prepare and perform maintenance of equipment onshore
• Mobilization and demobilization of equipment
• Perform onshore and offshore surveys and write reports
• Technical support related to the offshore operation
• Technical and practical training of new offshore employees
• Contribute to daily and monthly reporting of project activities
• Coordinate supplier activities
• Identify improvement opportunities
• Identify business opportunities
• Contribute to maintain and develop operational procedures, policies and standards
• Sporadic offshore rotation trips
• The tasks may be changed according to Company’s requirements
• Have a decent aptitude when it comes to trouble shooting with both mechanical and electrical equipment
• Be familiar with operating decanters, centrifuges
HSE RESPONSIBILITY:
• Adhere to the client’s HSE objectives and KPI’s
• Provide input and reporting of HSE results
• Reporting of incidents that might cause personnel injury, damage to the environment or other person’s property
• Reporting of any nonconformities
• Propose improvement suggestions/opportunities, risk reducing and corrective actions
Requirements
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Certificate of apprenticeship / Engineering degree, mechanical education or similar
• Other experience and mechanical or electrical certification considered
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience
• Must be locally available in the UAE
• Must have a previous experience being an Onshore Technical Supervisor role
• Can join immediately
• Flexible and must be willing to work on rotations
• Background in offshore Abu Dhabi (ADNOC) is a MUST
