Job description / Role

Then we might be looking for you. We are looking for a new Operations Controller to join our team in UAE – Dubai. You will report to the Operations Manager. You will be responsible for providing support to the global network, interacting with overseas offices to ensure accurate and prompt service for our customers.
What will you do?
• You will support Operations;
• You are responsible for timely order processing, follow-up with customers and vendors, invoicing and other duties as necessitated by the business.
• You will ensure customers have up to date and accurate information regarding their shipments;
• You will liaise with overseas offices and agents in regards to operations activities;
• You will have a good understanding geography and INCOTERMS.
Requirements
What do we expect from you?
• You have at least 2 years’ experience in the logistics industry with a strong knowledge of freight forwarding, imports, exports, ocean transport.
• You are able to develop effective relationships within organization global network to meet customer needs
• You have the ability to protect and maximize company revenues
• You are able to problem solve, handle and resolve conflicts
• You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and are able to communicate and work as a team
