OPERATIONS MANAGER - RENEWABLE ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE (WIND AND SOLAR PV)

Our client, a highly respected independent renewable energy, private equity Investment Company has an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join their team in Dubai.

Manage the Operation and Maintenance of a number of 6-10 plants of Wind and Solar PV technology.

Liaison with the O&M during warranty period and management of local O&M team after warranty period.

Tasks include:
- Contract Management
- Permits Management
- Monitoring and reporting of H&S
- Environmental management, monitoring and reporting
- Claims Management
- MSA management
- Payment and Invoices management
- Help create the Corporate Method Statements, Reporting Forms for construction, etc
- Liaison with the construction team in hand over process
- Involved in the commissioning tests prior Commercial Operation Date
- Quality Control during operation
- Consultant Management (using ad hoc consultants during operation)

Requirements

- BEng Electrical or Mechanical, any other higher degree to be considered
- Operations management experience of 5 to 10 years in Wind and PV plants
- Knowledge of basic contracts such as PPA, LLA, EPC, O&M, MSA
- Software: SCADA knowledge appreciated
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and to communicate with people of different backgrounds
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
