Operations Manager

This opportunity is with a large Media company based in the UAE

We’re seeking an experienced operations manager to support the organization in ensuring all government affairs are handled expediently. As an ideal candidate, you’ll have a sharp mind and proven success managing departments. For this role, you will be overseeing the licensing department and will be responsible for ensuring a smooth running of licensing, permits, and approvals for the organization

Responsibilities
• Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with UAE & GCC laws and regulations.
• Acts as a liaison with all Government departments for permits and approvals to ensure smooth functioning of all the licensing activities, permit, and location approvals.
• Lead all coordination and liaison activities, and related projects in the department for better customer experience.
• Acts as a focal point between the governmental entities and the organization to ensure that all conflicts are resolved and the processes are flowing in a smooth and efficient manner.
• Works closely with the management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance teams within the firm are well trained and always maintain a friendly demeanor with all the clients and government bodies
• Adhere to deadlines to meet all permit and licensing requirements in a timely manner.
• Stays up to date on industry regulations, trends, and technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field.
• Arabic speaker
• Minimum of three (3) years’ Experience in licensing
• Previous experience in managing a team
• Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, employees, and government entities
• Excellent communication skills.
