Operations Manager

Job description / Role

- Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company, vendors, and suppliers.
- Work closely with heads of departments to provide insights.
- Establish critical metrics to guide both the sales and production team’s behaviors and evaluate progress.
- Surface cross sell and upsell opportunities to the sales team, evaluate impact and adapt if needed.
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production and sales personnel (quality inspectors, workers)
- Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment.
- Ensure quality standards are implemented and observed.
- Enforce health and safety precautions.

Salary:
AED 12,000 to 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Excellent in sales and cross functional teams including the ability to solve arising issues with clients.
- Good understanding of machine and manufacturing operations.
- Ability to appropriately respond to and resolve issues with little direction.
- Proficient in CRM and ERP software tools.
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, proven stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptable to changing priorities.
- Ability to make judgement calls in an ambiguous environment.
- Experience in production management for at least 5 years.
- B.S/ or B. A/ or B.E in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
- A management qualification or certification is a bonus.
- Experience in the Printing and/ or Exhibition Industries would be an added benefit.
