Operations Manager - Advertising/Joinery/Fit-outs/Exhibitions

Job description / Role

- To ensure smooth and efficient function of the organization by providing leadership in operational matters and developing and implementation of organization strategies, policies and best practices.
- Ensure that the financial and non financial objectives of the company are fulfilled.
- Lead, manage and improve estimation, production, sales, business development, purchase, quality, safety, logistics and support departments within the company
- Always ensure that a balance is maintained between sales and production capacity.
- Represent Brand Options to clients, understand their requirements and develop a competitive pricing strategy to beat competition. Develop strategies for new client acquisitions along with Sales Manager.
- Present plans to management for new lines of business and expansion in GCC and European markets.
- Ensure development and implementation of processes for improved effectiveness and efficiency within the organization.
- Give suggestions on purchase, maintenance and development of machines in order to fulfil production needs.
- Coordinate with HR for recruitment and appraisal of staff under him.

Requirements

- Degree in Engineering. MBA preferred
- Should have 12+ years of experience in managing operations of entire company preferably in joinery/fit-outs/ advertising production house etc.
- Should have excellent leadership skills and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a head count of 150 to 180 personnel.
- UAE D/L is a must
