Employment: Full Time

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Primary responsibility is to manage the day to day operations of the complete building and construction materials division in a manner that maximizes financial performance, creates a positive working environment, and spurs employee development and accountability.
• Planning, implementing, managing and controlling all aspects of the Trading and Distribution business and also expertise in selling to manufacturers, developers and construction projects.
• Manage the complete building and construction materials business of the company with agreed sales volume and margins with direct responsibility of the Profit and Loss.
• Manage the strategic aspects of new projects and expansions and ensure risk mitigation for them. Also, ascertain the feasibility of the new projects in terms of their timing and fitment in the current businesses
• Developing market strategy for the products.
• Oversee and monitor quality certifications and process to ensure adherence to standards.
• Control inventories to ensure least wastage and lowest dead stock.
• Ensure clear communication and cooperation across all heads and managing the relationships to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain excellent relationship with principals, government departments, Port & Customs, Bankers and key customers.
• Ensuring smooth operations of Warehouse staff, Materials handling and ERP systems functioning
• Regular visits to Major Accounts, reaffirming business relationships to promote business, brand image and boost sales.
• Identifying business opportunities and Implementing aggressive sales and marketing activities.
• Provide quality service to clients and increase market penetration.
• Preparing yearly sales and marketing strategies.
• Preparing around the year import orders for different suppliers.
• Managing the sales team. - Key accounts management.
• Undertaking product wise sales and meeting specified targets.
• Establishing new markets with competitive strategies.
• Undertaking market study.
• Liaising with various domestic as well as foreign organizations.
• Building rapport with customers and suppliers.
• Defining strategies for future growth.
• Coordination with various departments within the group like IT, Audit, Finance, Logistics, Legal, and HR to ensure smooth operation with maximum profitability.
• Ensure that all works and activities comply with the company policy, regulatory and legal framework

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
University Degree in Engineering. At least 20 years of experience in building materials

A refined professional in the field of building materials who has worked with kinds of Ceramic, Porcelain, Terrazzo tiles, Marbles and Granites, Gypsum board, Cement boards, Wood, Plywood, MDF , Chip boards, steel , cables, Sanitary wares, mixers, Ceiling, solid surface, engineered stone, external and internal Paint, E- foam , Flexel sheets, wooden panels and flooring, wooden and Laminated flooring, Modular kitchen, Branded kitchen, Marbles, Granite, Faucets, bathroom accessories, Jacuzi, shower enclosures, water heaters, and false ceilings, plaster profiles and expansion joints, steel, Copper, Cement, drainage and MEP products, copper pipes, cast and ductile iron manhole covers, water proofing membrane and geo textile, electrical and other building products.

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Perfect English is a must, Arabic is preferable
• UAE Driving License
• In depth knowledge of local Trade Laws
• QMS (Quality of Management System) include QHSE
• Lean or Six Sigma Qualification / preferably Green or Black Belt attained
