Operations Procedure Reviewer

The power, process & nuclear division works within four main sectors which include the following: - nuclear, defence, industry and process and power civil's. We have a successful and distinguished track record of delivering innovative and robust solutions to the standards required by the nuclear industry. The division has long standing relationships with some of the key clients in this sector.

We are actively seeking operations procedure reviewers to join our client based onsite near Abu Dhabi. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work within a specialist nuclear organisation. These positions are for a duration of 8 months but with possible extensions.

* Attend training to equip necessary technical knowledge and skills and successfully complete all required training courses for procedure reviewers.
* Provide training feedback on program effectiveness with evaluation of operator performance.
* Qualify station procedure reviewer.
* Validate operating procedures through a review of background documents, vendor manuals, and drawings as assigned.
* Support revision of operation procedures.
* Review procedures developed by other departments and provide comments.
* Perform technical review on plant operation design specifications, license documents, guidelines as assigned.
* Perform technical administrative activities as assigned by section head.
* Remain open to changing workload and type of tasks assigned due to the changing role that procedure reviewers will have from the start of the project until the review is complete.
* Assist with the effective achievement of the organisation objectives by meeting personal targets as assigned.
* Be receptive and act upon formal, informal feedback and mentoring from operations and operations support line management.
* Facilitate communication both internally and externally in order to build and nurture mutual beneficial working relationships.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a degree in engineering or other scientific discipline. Must hold or have held a reactor operator (RO)/senior reactive operator (SRO) license/certification on a nuclear power plant.

Post based on site near Abu Dhabi with travel. Please note accommodation, subsistence and travel to and from site is included - mobilisation to and from UAE is also provided as well as a tax free salary.
