Job description / Role

A newly established company which is a joint venture between two National OPCO`s based in Abu Dhabi are seeking an Operations Supervisor to join the team. The successful Operations Supervisor will have 10 years` experience of operations in oil and gas, petrochemical or gas processing or solids handling, 5 years of which should be in a supervisory role.

As Operations Supervisor you will Supports the Operations Manager in planning, managing and coordinating activities to ensure that Operations targets are met, the operations are maintained safely and efficiently in accordance with Company policies, objectives and quality standards and assisting the Operations Manager in managing day to day activities and on site emergency situations.

Requirements

- Bachelor`s Degree or higher in the field of Chemical Engineering OR equivalent
- Direct experience and proficiency with HSE Management Systems and HSE requisites such as Risk Assessments, Audits and Inspections and Procedures.
- Thorough understanding of all financial aspects of budgeting, reporting, and accounting.
- Demonstrated ability to create an environment that fosters innovation, risk-taking, continuous improvement, and continuous learning.
- Proven operational, motivational, planning and coordination skills.
- Strong skills with MS Office (especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Experience in working on large projects with a multi-national workforce.
- Experience in preparation for operations in projects.
- Experience in onshore remote/desert operations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with and influence at different levels of the organization.
