Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are looking to hire an Oracle Fusion Financial Consultant -Functional who will be working on Oracle Fusion products and responsible for the delivery of various financial applications projects for our client in Dubai.

This position is a long-term contract role, with a duration of 6 months.

We are looking for an Oracle Fusion Financial Consultant -Functional with a strong finance background and experience in Oracle end-to-end implementations, enhancement, and upgrade projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitate and actively participate in all phases of the Implementation cycle, including Requirements Gathering & Analysis, System Design & Development, Testing, and Implementation.
• Responsibilities include planning, leading, and actively participating in the design, configuration, testing, and day-to-day support of the financial modules/functionality of Oracle Fusion.
• Manage full-cycle Finance applications enhancement and upgrade projects.
• Manage projects for technologies like Oracle Financial Modules – EBS and Fusion
• Work closely with an on-site team of technology vendor consultants for ERP implementation and enhancements.
• Ensure internal stakeholders’ involvement in projects and get signoffs from the relevant stakeholder on each stage of the project.
• Should Follow and ensure adoption of Oracle implementation best practices, adopt for requirements gathering solution design, configuration, testing, implementation, project documentation, and post-production support.
• Manage and maintain relevant project documentation, reports and plans.
• Ensure project governance and seek continuous improvement and project optimization.

Requirements

Key skills & experience:

• Graduate degree in Finance Management, Accounting, Commerce or Information Technology/Computer Science.
• 8+ years of solid work experience in functional consulting for the implementation of Oracle Financial Modules on Oracle EBS and Fusion, Upgrades, and Support projects (minimum of 6 - 8 implementations in total, 3+ on Oracle Fusion).
• Experience with various Finance ERP implementations/enhancement or upgrade.
• Strong vendor’s and stakeholder's management experience.
• Good experience in requirements gathering, analyzing, designing, configuring, and debugging financial solutions using Oracle AIM methodology documentation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A hard-working individual with the ability to work on multiple assignments with minimum supervision.
