Al Noor hospital Group is looking for Neurologist Specialist for its newly opened specialty clinic in Al Madar- Al Ain
- Must be able to treat common Orthopedic problems.
- Assist consultant in other major surgical procedures.
- Coordinate with the physiotherapy and Radiology departments when necessary.
- Provide general patient after care.
- Managing record keeping, patient charts and all required treatment and hospital records as needed.
- Provide direct medical care to patients for whom he is responsible.
- Refer patient to medical specialist or other practitioners when necessary.
- As requested or permitted, participate in research activities which contribute to the overall accomplishment of the mission of the hospital.
- Follows policies and procedure for infection control and facility safety in accordance to hospital guidelines.
- Exercises and maintains good discipline.
- Participates in medical conferences and meetings inside and outside Al Noor Hospital.
- Develop a personal program of self-study and professional growth with guidance from the medical staff.
- Actively participate in Hospital committees and task forces as assigned by the Medical Director
- Continuously adhere to Al Noor Hospital Dress and Grooming Policy for medical professionals.
- To attend the cases during On Call duties/emergency calls while outside of duty hours as and when required.
- Is flexible to any changes with regards to duty Rota, departmental/organizational changes, Continuous Improvement Plans etc.
- To demonstrate compliance to Hospital Policies & Procedures.
- Take reasonable care of your own health and safety;
- Take reasonable care of the health and safety of persons and the environment that may be affected by your acts or omissions at work;
- Provides primary care to inpatients including performing a history and physical examination, investigating, writing a treatment plan, and keeping progress notes covering diagnostic evaluation, progress, and discharge. Completes narrative summaries and other documents required for adequate follow-up.
- Cares for outpatients in the specialty clinic and outpatient including performing a diagnostic evaluation, writing treatment plans, and insuring proper follow-up.
- Prepares and reviews case histories and obtains data through interviews

Requirements

- A graduate in Medicine with post-graduate qualification and training in orthopedic surgery and 5 year recognised residency in Orthopedic surgery one year of general surgery training followed by four years of higher orthopedic training.
- Relevant license as outlined by a nationally recognized Medical certifying body is mandatory.
- Must have HAAD / DHA License
