Outpatient Manager – Hospital – TAX-FREE - Abu Dhabi

Our client, a large well-established 200+ bed hospital based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an Outpatient Manager on a permanent basis. The selected candidate will primarily be responsible for the following activities:
- Manage day-to-day operations related to outpatient activities
- Provide coaching and training to Patient Access Services staff
- Ensure the department is in compliance with the HAAD policies and procedures
- Extensive knowledge of patient admission, registration, scheduling and creating SOPs

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, healthcare, nursing or any related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 6 years of healthcare experience with 3 to 4 years as a manager
- Manage the outpatient admission, pre-registration, scheduling and pre-authorization
- Conduct trainings for the staff and coach and mentor the staff on a continuous basis
- Experience with implementing policies and procedures to ensure staff compliance
- Monitor and develop capital and operating budgets for the department
- Knowledgeable about process improvements and developing SOPs.
- Create staffing schedule to ensure the smooth functioning of the department
- Strong leadership and team management skills are required
- Strong communication skills are a must
