Job description / Role
Our Oilfield maintenance and repair client are urgently seeking an Outside Sales Manager to expand their growing business. The Outside Sales Manager will be responsible for contacting existing and potential new customers to promote sales of down hole tools and systems.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain annual sales plan. Present sales plan to Sales Manager and manage daily efforts toward plan.
* Grow relationships with current customers in established territory.
* Develop new customer relationships by identifying business needs and growth plans, educating key decision makers, and recommending integrated solutions to achieve business goals.
* Works on multiple projects simultaneously, some with assistance from estimating and engineering, but often completes small to mid-sized projects independently. Collects data that accurately represents customer requirements. Develops concepts that will meet customer demands.
* Develop proposals with assistance of staff that include technical and functional descriptions. Presents proposals to clients.
* Follow-up on all proposals, negotiate, and close.
* Present corporate PowerPoint presentation to clients.
* Create repeat customers and provide the highest level of customer service and support.
* Offer customers after sales service and preventive maintenance plans.
Requirements
* AA/BS in Engineering, Technical Field, or equivalent successful experience in a similar down hole tool industry role.
* Experience 5-10 Years in Outside Sales of down hole tools
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Proficient in manufacturing concepts
* Read mechanical blueprints
* Proven Oil and Gas track record
* Proven Project Management skills.
