Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is now looking for an experienced Paralegal to be based in their Dubai office.

As a Paralegal, you are expected to do the following responsibilities:
* Liaise with government departments to follow up cases, file and receive documents
* Instructing regional agents and assist in preparing Arabic submissions
* Coordinate and follow up with external lawyers regarding different cases
* Respond to routine inquiries, review and proofread documents to ensure accuracy
* Acts as a key administrative coordinator for the group
* Support key clients, oversee client referrals, liaise with business development
* Keep up to date with relevant local laws, procedures & government departments
* Negotiating settlements in respect claims

Requirements

* 2-3 years' relevant experience in a corporate environment preferably within an international law firm in UAE
* Insurance experience preferred
* Proficiency in legal research as well as strong analytic and drafting skills
* Knowledge of legal and corporate responsibility issues
* University degree in Law or Business, focus on legal studies desired
* Well equipped with UAE Law
* Paralegal certification / training highly desired
* Bilingual (English & Arabic)
