Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Paralegal, business development and administrative work
- Acting as key admin coordinator over seeing new subrogation matters and client referrals
- Manage portfolio across different classes of insurance (property, fire,oil &gas,marine)
- Developing and maintaining guidelines on local practices
- Assistance with business development initiatives logistics and follow up
- Keep up to date with local laws, procedures and government depts
- Building relationships with stakeholders
- Research and report preparation
- Negotiating settlements
- Arranging translations, account monitoring, arranging team meetings, business plans, calendars and reviewing files

Requirements

- Minimum 3 to 5 years ‘ experience as a paralegal in Dubai
- English and Arabic communication skills
- Law Degree is desirable
- High level of understanding of legal systems in MENA
- Understanding of principles of insurance and subrogation
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Preferably have experience in a loss adjusting firm or insurance company
- Excellent typing skills and highly skilled in MS Office applications.

To be the chosen candidate for this position you will need to be currently based in Dubai with at least 3 years experience in a multinational environment. Be professionally presented with a sound work ethic and approachable demeanour.
