Parts Advisor - Automotive - Honda

Job description / Role

The role acts as the focal point to continuously promote the improvement of Customer Service in Honda. A close liaison is maintained between all departments and all personnel involved in the process to create a “Quality Service Culture”. The role aims to ensure that all the subsequent administrative processes post receipt of parts from the principal is seamlessly controlled, the emphasis being on providing excellent customer service

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Specify the output required from the job. Identify not more than 7 Key Responsibilities & their performance indicators.
- Download principal invoice data and upload on to SAP for further process.
- Create shipping notification for all the consignments received from the principal in SAP.
- Responsible for all Good receipts arrived in the central warehouse.
- To carry out verification for all Invoices with good receipts.
- Update super session of the part numbers on to SAP
- Assist in fixing general pricing & approved special prices for spare parts.
- Aware of the hazards and the risks associated with their work activities.
- Use and maintain appropriate PPEs supplied to them
- Take reasonable care for own health & safety and also take care that his or her acts do not adversely affect the health & safety of others.
- Ensure quality of job to avoid errors/rework and take actions on customer concerns (internal/external) to improve operational ease.
- Comply with company QHSE rules and guidelines and SOPs and report all incident to the supervisor
- Participate in Tool Box Talk meetings and undertake safety awareness trainings as provided by the company

Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline or similar qualification.
- A minimum of 3-4 year experience within spare parts operations, preferably inbound/outbound/inventory/pricing in parts operations.

Job-Specific Skills:
- Communication skills in English / Arabic, Good interpersonal skills, Good in MS Office. Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
