Position Title: Pattern Maker
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 8K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications

About the Client:
One of the leading Retail Group in the UAE, based in Dubai, operating across GCC as a one stop shop for high quality global brands at a competitive price for electronics and Retail.
Job Description:
• Assist the inhouse designer in making patterns for sample and display
• Execute the pattern cutting plan as approved
• Do the pattern grading as and when required and guide tailors on stitching and finishing the samples
• Interpret a designer’s drawings to create pattern templates using work drawings
• Refer to a library of patterns to find a pattern which you can adapt and cut cardboard pattern pieces for each part of the garment whenever required
• Drape pieces of material over a dummy, shaping and pinning them around the ‘body’ until they fit correctly, then cutting out a pattern based on the pieces
Requirements
Qualifications:
• 50 years old and below
• Knowledgeable with the tools used for pattern cutting
• At least 3 years experience in the same role
