Planning Engineer - Project Management Consultancy - Dubai
A leading project management consultancy in Dubai is looking for a Planning Engineer. This is a chance to work for a market-leader in Dubai.
The Planning Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and providing planning advice with regard to critical schedule milestones on one of Dubai's most prestigious projects.
Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinating with the Engineer in the review and integration of the schedule in to client's database and will guide the Contractor in preparation of the schedule
* Reviewing Contractor's work program submissions
* Monitoring, adjusting and updating the cost plan and cash flows accordingly
* Evaluating Contractor's Extension of Time request and preparing recommendations to the Engineer.
* Reporting to the Senior Planning Manager
Requirements
Planning Engineer required for a leading Project Management Consultancy (PMC) in Dubai. Experience working on large scale retail or hospitality projects essential.
Requirements:
* You will have at least 5 years experience in planning with at least 2 years experience in the GCC.
* Proficiency in Primavera 6 /P6 software is essential.
* Successful applicants will have a degree in Civil Engineering and a background with a developer or consultancy.
* Previous claims adjudication experience is essential.
* Prior experience working on large scale projects worth in excess of AED 1 billon
* Experience on large scale shopping mall projects or hotel projects
