Employment: Full Time

Experienced Plant Manager required for leading Food Manufacturing organisation in Dubai.

This is an opportunity for a forward-thinking senior manufacturing leader to join a leading food and beverage organisation that operates multiple production facilities across the Middle East. This business is considered a leader in the food and beverage industry and exports its products globally.

Reporting to the Senior Operations Director, you will be responsible for driving best practice and implementing Continuous Improvement techniques in order to increase efficiency and productivity throughout the site. You will be a strong leader who is results focused and able to motivate a team and improve engagement.

The site will be going through significant future expansion and therefore expertise in engineering or project management would be preferred. You will also have the flexibility to manage change and be mindful that optimum production must be achieved throughout this project.

You will be an ambassador for safety and ensure that this is driven culturally across the facility. A good eye for detail and strong analytical skills when reviewing / improving quality standards will also be required. In order to achieve this patience is key and your ability to coach and mentor will be challenged.

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
- Management of 300+ employees
- Setting, achieving and exceeding operational KPI’s
- Driving a safety culture throughout the manufacturing site
- Partnering with all stakeholders to complete site expansion on time and within cost

Requirements

- Ideally tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Manufacturing or similar
- Strong understanding of Production, Maintenance, Quality and Safety
- Proven track record implementing a Continuous Improvement strategy in food and / or beverage manufacturing facility
- Hands-on leadership skills with a focus on coaching and mentoring
- Experience in HACCP, ISO and BRC accredited environment preferred
