Portfolio Manager, Transaction Banking - Commercial Clients (UAE National Preferred)

This role is within the Transaction Banking Sales team covering the Commercial Clients segment across both cash management & trade finance products and is part of the (Country) Transaction Banking team. The role is client-facing managing the simple portfolio accounts and responsible for revenue and drivers budget and also for other initiative targets for the tagged clients (including non BCA clients).

Responsibilities:

Strategy Business
- Proactively drive TB cross selling and limit utilisation and help RMs execute campaigns (e.g., TBFX, lending to trade)
- Join RMs in client meetings of Simple clients (as required)

Processes
- Handle TB Product enquiries from RMs, TB Ops, CSG across all portfolio clients (Cash and trade)
- Prioritizing target names for specific campaign/initiatives and driving

Risk Management
-Drive the Operational Risk framework implementation where applicable

People and Talent
- Champion and act as a role model of the Group’s values and culture in the country

Governance
- Promote the SCB brand and Group Code of Conduct - exemplify the values of the Group in all undertakings

Key Stakeholders
- Work effectively with all stakeholders, including (but not limited to) CC RMs and TLs; TB LPM/Client Access; SD&S; CSG; Operations; etc

Requirements

- Core Trade and Cash knowledge
- 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Limit Trade Port, RMWB and other systems
- Balance sheet - Basics of accounting
