Job Description
The Department of Network and Computer Engineering Department at UAE University is seeking applications for a full-time postdoctoral research position in Curricular Analytics. This position is supported by the UAEU Strategic research program, namely, Big Data Analytics Center (BIDAC). The postdoctoral work will be part of a project aiming at exploring and developing creative and original concepts that support valid inferences in STEM education: (a) new measurement techniques to quantify the complexity of STEM degree programs, (b) rigorous statistical analysis, and (c) advanced modelling techniques. The project will develop unprecedented measurement capabilities by leveraging deep knowledge of current issues in STEM education.

These new measurements will provide the research community with foundational mathematical tools that will help them better improve student success in STEM education. The novelty of these measurements is represented in their flexibility to be expanded to explore more sophisticated inference models in STEM education.

Preferences will be given to Postdoc who is learning analytics and data science expert, whose main work focuses on curricular analytics in higher education and whose work proved to provide outstanding academic support for academic institutions
