Job Description
The Department of Mathematical Sciences in UAEU has a postdoc position available for one year. Candidates should have a PhD in Mathematics or math education, or closely related fields. Previous experience in supervising undergraduate or MSc students is preferred (but not required). Candidate should be very comfortable in using computer programming languages (e.g. Python, C++, Mathematica, MatLab) for research and teaching purposes. He should have years of research experience and a number of publications in his fields of research.
The successful candidate will join a research team which consists of scholars specialized in various research area. He will work in an environment that encourages collaboration. He will also be involved in research studies regarding the use of numerical computing in Mathematics Education and its curriculum. This grant is funded by the Ministry of Education in UAE.
