Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Understand client business and competitive environments and help to apply this information to provide strategic client counsel
- Manage day-to-day program activities, overall program implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- Develop and monitor budgets to ensure agency profitability
- Aid in the development, presentation and implementation of creative agency programs
- Write a full range of materials (i.e., press releases, status reports, client correspondence), proofreading and editing
- Maintain media contacts, identify media opportunities and prepare clients for media encounters
- Participate in research and development of new business programs and presenting programs to perspective clients, as appropriate
- Provide on-site support for client events
- Keep supervisor and client aware of account status at all times
- Facilitate teamwork and create opportunities for junior staff

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications or a related discipline
- 6 months - 1 Years in Public Relations or related field in Communications
- Must be fluent in Arabic and English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple assignments/projects
- Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in writing, client and media relations, budgeting and program development and project management
- Demonstrate superior organizational skills
- Work well in a team environment
- Be proactive to find solutions
- Communicate well with senior and junior staff members
- Meet deadlines
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and an ability to juggle more than one account successfully
