Job description / Role
Our client, a leading software provider of solutions dedicated to the financial industry is hiring for Pre-sales Consultant for its Middle East Operation.
The role aims at supporting the sales process of its product to financial organizations in the Middle East. It revolves around the major tasks below:
- Direct assistance to the sales team, expert assistance in all aspects of the sales process
- Product presentations ranging from initial overviews to detailed workshops
- RFI/RFPs appraisal and client qualification
- Maintenance of a comprehensive demonstration database
- Writing functional specifications which meet customer requirements and translating these accurately to the professional services and development teams
- Networking and lobbying with the relevant industry players
- Visits to clients, identification of new business requirements and capture of industry trends,
- Detection of market specific requirements for product implementation
- Organization and participation in marketing events
- Support of the overall marketing effort.
Requirements
- Financial educational background (private equity preferred)
- Financial and technical skills
- Experience of financial software business-to-business sales and business development process
- Ability to understand and implement sales propositions
- Creative problem solving and technical objection handling capabilities
- Fluent in English is compulsory ( Arabic is a plus)
- Excellent client relationship skills, a clear and friendly communication style as well as great presentation skills.
- Previous international experience and/ or within a multicultural environment is a plus
