Pre Sales Engineer - Panatech - Al Futtaim Electronics - Dubai, U.A.E.

As a Pre Sales Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the frontline account managers in providing efficient designs and effective estimations for professional AV products and solutions including projectors, professional displays and digital signage. You will also be required to source required 3rd party software and hardware in order to fulfil customer requirements. On this role you will be responsible to prepare product proposals in line with customer requirements, pre-qualification and project spec-in with AV consultants and contractors as well as project managers. Analyze client requirements discuss same with consultants and provide solutions to fit in Panasonic products. Perform effective product demonstrations and product training to System Integrators and Value Added Resellers. Also provide post sales installation support for AV products and solutions.

Your role will be based in Dubai and cover projects across the UAE and will require visiting customer sites. You will report into the Business Manager.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting role, you should have an Engineering degree preferred in electrical / low voltage / tele - communication. You should have minimum 5+ years’ experience in technical – design and estimation of professional AV products, projectors & professional displays, including - large scale AV integration projects, digital signage solutions. This experience should be within a large system integrator. Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an asset.

Along with previous experience you must have excellent knowledge of projection mapping and experience in using edge blending, geometric adjustment software.
