Our prestigious IT Financial Software Vendor is urgently looking for a Pre-sales Consultant for a permanent position to be based in Dubai, UAE

The Pre-sales Consultant will be managing the full scope of pre-sales related activities in the Middle East and supporting the sales process of the products to financial organizations in MEA region. The Pre-sales Consultant will be conducting demonstrations of financial software to potential clients.

The Project Manager will include but not be limited to:
- Direct assistance to the sales team, expert assistance in all aspects of the sales process
- Product presentations, ranging from initial overviews to detailed workshops and POCs.
- Conduct client facing meetings
- Gather the requirements of the potential clients
- RFI/RFPs appraisal and client qualification, responses to RFPs
- Maintenance of a comprehensive demonstration database
- Networking and lobbying with the relevant industry players
- Detection of market specific requirements
- Collaboration with the professional services team and support in writing SOW documents, estimating required effort, transferring knowledge…
- Suggest product evolutions to the R&D team
- Support of the overall marketing effort and participation in marketing events

Requirements

To be considered for this outstanding PreSales Consultant role, my client is seeking an accomplished PreSales Consultant with at least 5 years Extensive experience in preselling financial software a coupled with the following skills and experience:

- Ability to understand the sales business and the sales strategy
- Strong problem solving skills, attention to details
- Excellent client relationship skills, a clear and friendly communication style as well as great presentation skills
- Ability to work independently, while remaining motivated and focused.
- A ‘can do’ attitude – willingness to accept challenges and work to deadlines
- Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Financial exposure (preferably in Alternative Assets)
- Experience with financial software (Alternative investments/ private equity) is a plus
- Experience with financial software selling is a plus
- Advanced knowledge in MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint
- Experience working in Europe, America, Canada and Australia
