President - MENA

Turnkey Contractor in Interiors
Commercial Interior Fit Out Projects

Our client is well established regional MENA fit out firm who provide fit out, manufacturing and contracting services to the construction industry across the Middle East region. They are part of a large Middle East conglomerate of companies with global operations. They now seek a President for this growth firm to lead and direct this high performing team to meet organizational strategic and operational objectives from a sales, production, and corporate service and corporate governance, commercial and technical and engineering perspective. The focus of this role is to manage the firms operations whilst building the structure, refining the systems and benchmarking the firm to a world standard.

Reporting to the Chairman of the Board and managing a growth firm; this role is responsible to:
- Direct, lead and performance manage the company and direct management of an executive team and indirect management of a high performing team.
- Market analysis of current markets as well as potential new markets for the firm.
- Manage, monitor and achieve projected budgets and revenue and manage / control production costs and expenditure.
- Build an effective and efficient production process that is lean to remain competitive in the current marketplace.
- Review of strategic and operational plans.
- Be the key representative for the firm in relation to clients and stakeholders.
- Build forward sales for the companys books to maximize production capacity and enhance sales revenue.
- Submit monthly management reports as required on company revenue and performance to the Board of Directors and Sector CEO.
- Ensure minimal Health and safety incident across the company.

Requirements

- Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Manufacturing or comparable and possess a minimum of 7 years experience in the interiors / fit out sector and at least 2 years experience in the GCC markets being essential.
- Strong project management and production / workflow management expertise in terms of design, financial, production and installation.
- The exceptional communicator must have strong commercial acumen and will ideally have networks across the construction sector.
- The ability to work across various levels of management and within a multi-cultural environment is essential.
- Bilingual language skills in English is essential with Arabic being highly regarded.
