We would like to inform you that we are hiring for Pricing and Competitive Intelligence Manager with experience levels from 5 years.

Key Responsibilities for the role will include but not limited to:
- To activate, maintain and enforce the pricing strategy, discounting policy including pricing DoA, embed operational guidelines in ME and KSA.
- Identify pricing gaps in the current state and the pricing strategy / rules of the game and define collaboratively with all functions. Drive SMART initiatives to close these performance gaps to enhance brand, customer, country and cluster or regional performance. (This should underpin annual sales and marketing activity)
- Review the price positioning of a predefined “basket of goods” using IPP tools & customer insight data to validate competitive price positioning at consumer and trade price list level in all major channels at least once a year.
- Validate with Sales and marketing we are delivering enough value to the customer groups,
- To feed into Regional Price lists and product launches
- Monitor the pricing waterfall implementation and pricing DoA across all channels and sectors within the region. a) Identify potential areas for improvement / capability with local sales teams. B) Recommend potential interventions and maintain a pipeline of options c) Recommend potential refinement to global pricing tools, analytics or discount scale rates to be included in the annual price review. D) Own and lead the deployment of the appropriate pricing waterfall tool – Z-offer, Pricing Engine within the region to aid sales in creating pricing offers ready for system and management approval e) monitor and report to the central team the use of discounts and rebates within the region.
- Collate competitive pricing information from the geography (in line with company’s Legal and Competition law frameworks in-line with global processes to inform strategy and price interventions only once agreed with Global Head of Pricing and Regional head of pricing + Sales Directors.
- Coach regional / country sales and marketing teams on value based principals and approaches for products or services in preparation for negotiations or launches.
- Input to OD&I process and execution of new marketing offers in country to assist in price setting and launch price strategy execution.

Requirements

- University degree in Marketing or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales & Marketing
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Knowledge of lubricant business
- Commercial sales and marketing experience
- Experience in working in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders

Skills Required:
- Provide leadership in HSSE, consistent with company values and the code of conduct
- Understand and comply with company policies, standards and regulations relating to HSSE
- Utilise the HSSE systems, processes and tools necessary to comply with HSSE policies, plans and standards relevant to the role.
- Significant ability to influence senior stakeholders using data and facts
- Form relationships across ERP teams, Regional performance, Global pricing and offer development teams
- Cluster LBM demand manager to factor pricing activities into forecasts
